Police seize more than 200 cannabis plants at Hartlepool farm.


Officers from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Group found the cannabis farm yesterday afternoon, Wednesday October two, at about two.10pm.

More than 200 plants at a variety of stages of maturity had been seized from the farm which spanned all 3 floors of the constructing.

A man in his twenties was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and officers mentioned the man is at the moment assisting police with their enquiries.

ergeant Adrian Dack, of the Hartlepool Neighborhood Security Group, mentioned: “The group have once again acted upon the details offered by the neighborhood with a optimistic outcome, much more controlled drugs have been recovered and we at the moment have a male in custody awaiting to be interviewed.

Yesterday’s action was performed as element of Operation Sentinel, a tri-force operation in between Cleveland, Northumbria and Durham police, to target severe and organised crime across the area.
