A Norwegian and Canadian joint venture will see the improvement of new cannabis cultivation facilities in Portugal.
The deal will see RavenQuest give its Orbital Garden develop technologies, cultivation experience and intellectual home to Cannabis Biocare who will be wholly accountable for building and facility operation.
These will be primarily based in two web-sites, say the firms in a joint press release a single in the Portuguese towns of Vila Nogueira de Azeitao and the second in Porto.
Substantial European Chance
Cannabis Biocare is an offshoot of Norwegian corporation HEMLA itself an active player in the power sector in Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Each parties will have an equal share in the Joint Venture, which is anticipated to be known as RQBeu, and plans to generate 35,000 kilograms of healthcare cannabis for the European market place.
George Robinson CEO of RavenQuest stated the size of the European marketplace ‘with more than 700 million residents and its progressive attitude toward cannabis legalization’ had piqued its interest.
He went on to say Cannabis Biocare is accountable for supplying 100% of the funding for the Joint Venture and that its ‘political relationships across Europe, North Africa and the Gulf States brings the prospective for future expansions into these markets’.
Scientific, Revolutionary and Sound
Cannabis Biocare, which says the production facilities will be constructed inside two years, was founded by Gerhard Ludvigsen. He stated it had been ‘quietly and patiently conducting investigation prior to getting into the international cannabis marketplace’.
He continued: “Our due diligence course of action has been exhaustive and has involved conversations with quite a few Canadian cannabis firms like 5 firms with market place capitalizations in the billions of dollars.”
He stated that following these deliberations it has selected to ‘partner with a single of the most scientific, revolutionary and fundamentally sound cannabis projects worldwide, namely RavenQuest BioMed’. A registered Overall health Canada licensed producer RavenQuest has bases in Ontario and Alberta and performs with McGill University in Montreal.
In August, RavenQuest announced that its six distinct cannabis varieties namely Brooklyn Sunrise, The Ultimate, CBD Compassion, CBD Kush, Charlotte’s Angel and CBD Skunk Haze, had passed the needed tests.
