Summit CBD Review
Summit CBD: 60-Second Summary
Denver-based Summit CBD may get its name from the towering mountains lying just West of the city. Or maybe it’s from the high-quality of cannabidiol product they hope to produce. Either way, it seems the company does a good job of living up to its lofty name, with a large variety of CBD oil items—for both people and pets—that pass our safety test and can help users with everything from revving up for a peak performance to chilling out at the end of a long day.
Summit CBD Brand Review
Born and bred on the Colorado slopes, Summit founder Kirk Jordan was well on his way to becoming a professional skier, until an unfortunate accident changed the trajectory of his entire life. The incident left Jordan in need of several painful surgeries, which left him hooked on opioids to deal with the arthritis equivalent to a 95-year-old.
Jordan was thankfully able to transition away from the pharmaceutical dependency – a move which he attributes to the discovery of CBD oil. And from that moment, he decided he would find a way to offer the same natural pain management solutions to everyone.
Summit CBD does that and more, with a large store offering nearly every form of CBD oil, from capsules to tinctures—for both humans and pets—to CBD edibles—again, for both humans and pets—to topicals to CBD isolate crumbles.
The large inventory may seem intimidating, especially to cannabidiol novices, but the company offers a fun way for new users to figure out the best product for them: a “Get Matched” quiz, which asks a few quick and easy questions before guiding users to the products that have the qualities they’re looking for, kind of like a CBD oil dating game.
Prices range from $10 for a pack of CBD dog treats to $90 for Summit’s Nano CBD oil tincture. Whichever item users land on has happily been tested for CBD oil purity and potency and checked out for the absence of mold, mildew and other contaminants. And we love that the company’s CBD gummies and capsules are both vegan-friendly.
Still, we wish Summit CBD would offer ingredients lists for all of their items, especially their topical creams, which can tend to verge into unnatural additive territory. And after scouring their site, we’re also left wondering where the company sources its hemp from in the first place and how its CBD oil is extracted—two key points we’re always on the lookout for.
Bottom line: Summit does a great job of offering soup-to-nuts CBD oil options, which all have positive third-party lab test results in common, earning our prestigious safety badge. But the company offers nothing in the way of information on where its hemp is sourced or how its CBD oil is extracted, leaving our quality badge out. We also wish they’d be more consistent on listing the ingredients for all of their items, just to make sure their safety can be verified all the way through.
